"Lower Alsace Fire Department-Serving With Pride Since 1927"

Welcome to the Community Volunteer Fire Company of Lower Alsace

The Lower Alsace Fire Department, established in 1927, is a fully volunteer fire department dedicated to protecting and serving our community 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our team of highly trained and committed volunteers responds to emergencies with professionalism, courage, and dedication. We take pride in our ability to provide fire suppression, rescue operations, and emergency services, including assisting our community alongside Medical Team 555. Additionally, we actively engage in fire prevention and safety education initiatives. As a cornerstone of the community, we remain steadfast in our mission to safeguard lives and property, always ready to answer the call when duty demands.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter or fire police officer, we invite you to stop by on a Tuesday night or email Mikelafc4@gmail.com for more information.

Hazmat at Stokesay Castle

On January 1st 2026 around 4:00 PM company 4 along with mutual aid were dispatched to Stokesay Castle for a hazmat. Chief 4 arrived on location with natural gas leaking out of the supply line before the meter. Crews arrived and closed the valve feeding gas to the meter. Crews then entered the building to check for any gas that may have leaked inside. Crews had an odor of gas, checked with multi gas meters and determined there was no actual gas inside. Fans were placed and fresh air was introduced to the affected areas. UGI arrived on scene and released fire units, continuing their investigation.

In the case of an emergency dial 911
