Since 1927, the Lower Alsace Fire Company has proudly served the residents and visitors of Lower Alsace Township and the surrounding communities. As a 100% volunteer fire department, our members are committed to protecting lives, property, and the community through professional emergency response, fire prevention, and public service.
Our dedicated volunteers respond around the clock, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing fire suppression, emergency response, and mutual aid assistance to neighboring departments whenever called upon. Whether it's a structure fire, vehicle accident, hazardous condition, or public service call, our members stand ready to answer the call with courage, dedication, and professionalism.
Beyond emergency response, we believe in building strong relationships within our community. Throughout the years, we host fundraising events, community breakfasts, educational programs, and family-friendly activities that help support our operations while bringing neighbors together. Every dollar raised goes directly toward maintaining equipment, training firefighters, and ensuring we remain prepared to serve when emergencies occur.
Our department is funded through community donations, fundraising events, and township support. The continued generosity of our residents and local businesses allows us to maintain modern apparatus, lifesaving equipment, and ongoing firefighter training while keeping our department volunteer-based.
